    Who lived in the houses?

    Inskription på Ane Huggemands hus

Before the houses arrived at the Open-Air Museum, they were the background for different people's lives for several centuries. Some of the residents have left clear traces for posterity in the form of official documents and mementos. Others have left nothing but a name.
