The history of Lolland and Falster from ancient times to the present
The Museum Lolland-Falster consists of four exhibitions, which are partly situated in Maribo, partly in Nykøbing F and partly in Horslunde.
The different exhibitions of The Museum Lolland-Falster give the visitor various glimpses of Lolland's and Falster's history from ancient to modern times.
The house of the tsar is situated in Nykøbing, viz as a historical half-timbered building from the 1690's. Here, you will find a piece of the town's civic history with its exhibitions of Falster's history.
At Banegårdspladsen in Maribo you will find the old museum building from the year 1889 that contains the county museum.
Besides the beautiful scenery one can get a glimpse of the local building and peasant culture in the years from the late 1600s to the early 1900s.
The museum consists of three parts: •The main building of Pederstrup manor house •The surrounding park •A former riding school
